How to Lock a User Record

Occasionally, users must be prevented from accessing the XtreamService application. To accomplish this, user records can be locked using the User Management screen.

The following procedure can be used to lock a user record.

  1. Access the User Management screen

    To access the User Management screen, click the (More) icon, and then click the User Management link.

  2. Search for the user record to lock on the Search Criteria panel and click the SEARCH button.

    User records matching the search criteria display in the Results section.

  3. Select the user record in the Results section.

    The Edit User panel displays, where changes to a user record can be made.

  4. Select the Locked check box to lock the user record.

  5. Click the (Save) icon.

    The user record is locked, and the user cannot access the XtreamService application until the record is unlocked.
